The Farming Score

This work visualizes and sonifies the retail price trends of eight agricultural products produced in Hongcheon (rice, apples, napa cabbage, watermelons, potatoes, cucumbers, green chili peppers, and zucchini) from December 31, 2015 to September 10, 2025. On days when prices fall, the background of the corresponding item is shown in red, while on days of increase it appears in green, with the price fluctuations also displayed in a graph. Each item’s price is further translated into sound: the lowest price within the given period is mapped to the lowest pitch, and the highest price to the highest pitch.
